I have a Caldwell ballistic Precision chronograph(*) and it's only function is for testing air rifles/pistols within the workshop. I see light related errors from time to time so I want to add some really bright LED's across the diffusers to ensure more consistent results.
Can anyone recommend some suitable LED's please?
(*) Yes I should have purchased one with the optional lighting at the time and no, I am not paying seventy quid for the optional lighting.

Re: Chronograph lighting
I imagine any IR LEDS can be used - I don't think the receivers are frequency sensitive.

Caldwell use 36 x IR leds and 1 x normal red led in each fitting. The normal led is only there to show that power is present.
