When cutting stainless in your band saw slow the blade speed down. If not you risk burning out the blade and work hardening the stainless.

I've got the Warren Machine Tools model, looks identical. Make sure you buy some decent blades for it. Had mine for years and it works OK.

Parting off.
Vince gave me the nod on a parting tool to try. It was cheap as chips and it works. Used it today for the first time on some aluminum 1" round bar stock and it just worked. I need to try it on some bright steel and stainless. But it works loads better than any other tool I have used.

Hmm the bandsaw has shed its blade three times now whilst cutting the first and second time aluminium round stock. The third time stainless round 1"x1/4. Any one got any idea whats going on.

Blade is out of line or incorrectly tensioned, or the pulleys are not parallel to each other.

Up to now this tool has worked well. Arc euro sells them.
