Just goes to show if one register a business website then register everything else that is similar to avoid this situation.

Indeed - theshootingshed.co.uk has just been registered yesterday (29/11/20) - I assume to go alongside the .com

A business website - no formal contact details, no company number, no VAT registration (if appropriate). Someone to be avoided though.

I would suggest a formal letter asking them to refrain from using your company name ...

I'd register BinbrookGunsmiths.co.uk, .com, .org and .tv as soon as I could if I were you, Dave. Good time to go with a name change.
Arming the Country, one gun at a time.

Good deals with Paul101, Charlotte the flyer, majordisorder, Charlie Muggins, among others. Thanks everybody.

I completely agree if it was not for the fact that then one would also have to include:

thebinbrookgunsmiths
the-binbrook-gunsmiths

....and a million other variations, you get my point.

Ovenpaa has spoken to the person in question.

So far it is a website, not a company. Not sure Companies House would allow such a similar (identical) company name.
