MDT LSS - 22 (Ruger American)
Do any of you know the thread of the screws on the underside of an MDT LSS – 22 (gen 1) chassis? I would like to fit a front rest rider. I asked the the company (UK based) where I purchased it and they advised 10-32" UNF, however, after purchasing the screws (via Amazon), they don’t fit! Therefore, anyone know the answer?
Any assistance much appreciated.
Thank you

Were they too big/too small or close but wrong pitch?

They went in about half a turn then stopped.

M5 screws maybe then?
Re: MDT LSS - 22 - screw thread?
So the screws that are supplied are 10/24 flat head screws in ½” length.

I have asked another RFD and they don't know for sure, but could be 8 -32 or 8 - 36. Their advise was to contact MDT, which I was going to do but couldn't find a contact e-mail address.

If you have a 3.5mm drill bit, you could try to see if the shank fits in the hole.
If it fits, it is probably 10-24
