New SAS Drama

#1 Post by 20series »

Well hopefully it won't be full of woke PC nonsense but the BBC has produced a new drama about the origins of the SAS. Due out next year.

If you havn't already read it the book: "Eastern Approaches" by Fitzroy Maclean is an excellent and riveting description of the events in North Africa and Yugoslavia during the war.

Usually when the BBC make a programme e like this, the toughest member of the crew is gay and one of the best fighters is a woman.

Yeh lots of complaints about it, but personally I love it.. if you listen to the tracks being played they fit the particular scene or mood perfectly.

The music was the only redeemimg part of that whole abortion of a series.

The documentary "Rogue Warriors" was better by far and worth the watch.
