Had a good experience with a gun shop or rifle maker? Found a good deal? Tell us about it. Had a bad experience, TELL THE GUN SHOP!

Forum rules
Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'

The Scotsgun Ruling:

>Add Gun Shop here<

"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."

Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!

This rule applies to the entire forum.

Anyone dealt with this company. They are based in Czechoslovakia and I can get stuff cheaper than from gunshops over here including the 20 euros shipping.

Be wary Graham, because you may also get charged Euro VAT and then VAT and other duties when it lands in the U.K.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Looks as thought the Euro vat has been added at 21% so I could get stung for another load when it gets here.
Oh well looks like I will have to order it from good old Blighty

Depending on the value of your purchase you could also have to pay import duty .
And if it comes through Royal Mail/Parcelforce you will have to pay a handlimg charge .
And if you pay with a credit card you may have a 2 or 3% charge .

Much better to support a UK based gun dealer or even a local gun dealer who is trying to make a living .

When your local dealer has closed , dont expect another dealer to take his place .

And once again my expectations of the NSRA are justified as 2 weeks later they still haven't even posted it!!!!!. The item remains in my account as "Unfulfilled", and despite numerous messages left on their website and emails sent (all of which have been ignored) I am still left waiting.
Absolutely bloody useless.

According to their website:

All prices are without VAT ! Local VAT will be added for EU customers !

That suggest non-EU purchases will be invoiced without VAT
