I was in Birmingham city centre and there an information board by a statue, The information provided (assume by the city ) tried to link Birmingham to the slave trade because Birmingham made guns were traded for slaves. It omitted to say it was West Africans selling the slaves for guns which they used to raid inland to capture more slaves.
New boss at CNN shaking things up as it has lost audience share, Don Lemon was moved from his solo evening show to co-hosting an early morning show with two female presenters. A demotion but at least he kept a job for now, a couple of CNN news anchors have lost theirs.
