Taurus LBR .357/.38

#1 Post by ptheta »

Hi all,
I'm looking for a second hand Taurus in .357/.38. Preferably one where the coat hanger has already been replaced with a rod. Not fussed about whether it's blued or stainless but it must be in good condition and full working order. There's nothing on Guntrader at the moment so I thought I'd ask on here.
Thanks,
Paul.

Paul,

My local shop has brand new ones at the moment. One in .357 and one .44. They did have a .22.......... but I bought it!!

Would that be any good?

And, are you aware that Taurus have dropped the 12 inch models from their catalogs? They have discontinued them. If you've seen what's happened to the price of Ruger Old Army's since they were discontinued, it might be worth while considering a new one if you can find it. Just a thought.....
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

PM'd you, Simon.

That's interesting, thanks Sim. Sounds like if I don't pull my finger out I may end up with an Alfa! Where is your local shop, please?

Thanks for all the help, guys. I'm just waiting for the photos before proceeding but I've provisionally done a deal with Simon's mate.
