Getting on the leader board or not this type of shooting is the keystone to many peoples shooting, I for one have been swallowed up in the arms race that is competitive shooting yet I find myself having every bit as much fun shooting a .303 at 1000 yards or using 7,62x51 machine gun ammunition at 600 yards. If I was to look for another rifle of this ilk I would look for a Swing or Musgrave or similar, fix some glass on the top and see what I could do with it.
From an ethical stance this is a far purer form of shooting in my eyes.
