What I shoot the most

.22 caliber rifles
.22 caliber rifles
When signed up for this great forum one question asked was, what do I shoot? The rifles that hit the range the most often are my .22's, cost, convenience I'm sure everyone understands.

My three standby .22's are my old Glenfield tube loading .22 with scope. The most reliable auto loader is the 10/22 obtained this from my late father, he purchased new back in 1964 when it was a new model on the market. This little rifle I grew up with, hiked with it and carried it on many back country adventure, long, sometimes ruff life. Very reliable, shot thousands of times NEVER a jam. Interesting this rifle has a very low serial number for a 10/22 at 9032. The last and my new favorite is the old Stevens model 15B single shot with the old weaver 4X scope. The rifle is just fun to shoot.

Had the little guy in the desert today, introduced him to a little .22 shooting then went for a hike. All in all a really nice Sunday afternoon.
