.22 Lampagyar

#1 Post by jjvc »

T'was a quiet night at the range tonight as everyone had nicked off early and i had the place to myself.

I spent a very pleasant hour with a box of .22 Remington ammo, the Lampagyar Trainer and various scaled down military targets.

Man, i love this rifle!

Christel used to own one, the rear sight was graduated to 200m from memory and it was a very accurate rifle. I know she misses it to this day...

What rifle is it modelled on? Looks like a Mosin Nagant/Swedish Mauser..?

They were modelled on the Mosin Nagant and were built in the 1950's at the Budapest Lamp Works hence the name.
