Some forces insist that it also has to be chained to the wall (something the the Fire Brigade around here dont like you to do!)
When I was first granted my explosives licence I was told to bolt the box to the wall. On renewal the FEO said he didn't like that too much as in the event of a fire I wouldn't be able to remove it quickly enough, as if i would anyway as it's up in the loft.
