Standard M16 sling

#1 Post by mikeb »

Looking for a standard US issue M16 / AR15 sling in green O/D. The one that fits the collapsible butt stock preferably. They all seem to be these fancy, dancy three point tactical jobbies these days!

Anybody know where to get a standard post Vietnam US Nylon M16 sling from in the UK???

I get most of my M16 slings from Gun Parts Corporation in the USA.

There were a few variations of green nylon sling issued , plus black & other colours.

The post-VN collapsible butt versions tend to be the plain black nylon types; depending on time frame of course!

Found a good one on MidwayUK. Made in the US and very good quality. £18.

Will do shortly.

The link is for the M1 version but its identical to the early M16 version. Its elsewhere on the site in black but I wanted a green one.

I know I have an old one stashed away somewhere in my gun lockers; can't remember whether it is green or black, I'll check & get back.

Andy, I am after a black one so if nobody else is interested I certainly am if you wish to sell it.

Yup, I've got a fairly well used one in green. If this is any use please PM me and we can come to some arrangement.Image
