My guess is it was hardware related, followed by internal routing issues at the Hosts end followed by slow DNS propagation for us mortals. Christel and I use different DNS servers and she was up very quickly last night using the Virgin DNS servers, I use someone different and they still had not picked up F-B(UK) when I went to bed 23:00 ish and I had to run with the VM DNS last night. Everything is back in order this morning which is good :)

If it was a hardware thing you would have thought that all forums that use this forum provider would have had problems aswell wouldnt you?
My forum is with the same people as this one, and it never went down!! strange???

Your with different people, F-B(UK) is hosted in Illinois and Celtic is hosted in Los Angeles so completely different hosts.
