Didn't get a chance to shoot it yesterday. Got soaked out on Century and just wanted to go home after that.

Well like pe4king, I picked up my 7.5" cattleman yesterday. Fired it for the first time last night and found it firing very low. I did however managed to get 5 shots onto the target at 25yards, I'm sure with a little practise I'll get better.

Mine shoots very low too.

I've marked the front sight with Tippex for now, I may take a file to it at some point.

The front sight blade does seem high on these models, maybe that is to allow for some adjustment with a file.


Rob how did you get on with Mr Heath Robinsons creation, you should see the latest one it a marvel of improvisation :good:

It was a shock to fire the first time (if you are talking to me) put through 25gns FFF which gave a huge bang and flame clapclap but was advised to drop down to 21gns which calmed it down a little.

When I can get some sort of group I'll think about filing the front sight down
