Reminds me of a mate who is a Geordie, he had a knock on the door one morning and was greeted by two JW's. The conversation was something like this:
Him, "Sorry but I am an RC so I cannot really talk to you about this"
Them "Ah, a Roman Catholic then"
Him "Nope, a Rough xxxx"
End of conversation.
Personally I like JW's and will always invite them in for a good chat. Christel viably cringes, sadly the JW's have got wise to me and no longer knock on the door :(

Current protocol...Sorry, not interested...smile...door closes.
:)
I once engaged in a conversation with an old dear JW who knocked my door in 1975...soon after my daughter was born.
Mum and daughter were sitting on the rug infront of the fire when she called. AHHH I said to the JW...look at my wife and new baby aren't they great? Oh yes JW said...well, I said, Mum would be dead now if not for 5 pints of blood transfused last month after she hemorrhaged.
Conversation stopper.
:)
