Jenks, that kill was a setup mate. I later read that that hog was as tame as anything as it had been around humans since birth.

Now if only the Russian blacks I hunt got that big......a couple of guys on an Australian/NZ forum recently posted a pic of the monster they dropped. It was taken in an area of cane sugar and hag got ridiculously big. The pics showed it in the back of truck. The arse of the truck was straining and it took up the full flat bed.
We all thought it bo...cks and until some other known and trusted contributors backed them up.

For eating I prefer yearlings. The flesh is tender, they're easy to de-flea as they fit in a 55 gallon drum and they're easily halved for butchering. Ram a stainless steel rod down their length and use a machete.

A ripe old boar can smell and taste every bit as bad as a feral goat.
