Probably long since banned, I can remember a couple of nice Sea Trout (Sewin?) showing up on the of my Great Aunt's in Mid Wales, they were usually caught by nets across the estuary after dark and even in the late 60's it was illegal, or certainly the people doing it were breaking the law :D

I've fished that river from childhood. My old man used to run the fishing school near the Old Spey Bridge. In those days we would stay at the Seafield Lodge Hotel. Now its Inverallen or Kinveachy.
