I am sure you will two stars for fixing two machines, although I thought you had taken Bnz's computer off him as I have not seen him recently..... ;)

I wonder why the people who provide the software for the board cannot make the Summer Time transition automatic. Other applications can do it and it can put me in the right time zone so why not the Summer Time setting?

Depends were the server is they may be renting this server off some one in the USA for instance.
Our web site servers are in Holland and the USA.

We both use the same computer at home, he tends to browse more than get involved with discussions.

Not really relevant. You set your location and based on that the software provides the standard time for that location. So why they cannot extend that and use the DST utility as well to provide current local time is bad practice.
