Perception and reception also depends on where you live, huge difference in gun attitude between Bedfordshire (where we used to live) and Lincolnshire (where we live)
Beds...blank stare or indifference or really!? Rarely positive.
Up here, all positive so far. Most people up here know people who are either hunters, game keepers or target shooters.
Much more part of life than in Beds.
So now when asked I am ok about saying it out loud, sounds iffy doesn't it
