Saw the Who at Parkhead in '76.

The line up included SAHB, Little Feat, Outlaws, Widowmaker and Streetwalkers.

What a line up.

What a concert.

The Who were brilliant but Alex Harvey on home turf was always hard to beat.

Roger Chapman could always belt out a song and Little Feat in the Lowell Geaorge days well what can I say, you can't get better.

Seem to recall the police were pretty heavy with it being hard for people to get the bevvy and the whacky baccy in, saw the polis chucking peoples carry oots into skips.

There was also a full scale rammy during the day, but hey its Glasgow and it was alive.

They also had a raffle and the winner got to help Keith Moon set fire to the organ from Tommy.

There was a laser show too with the Who and it was great, all new stuff in those days, never been seen by most of us before.

Oddly enough I was telling Christel about the Sensational Alex Harvey band just the other night, she had some stripy trousers on that Zal Cleminson would have been proud of 8-)

EDIT - and with that I went off to Youtube to listen to Delilah as it has been a while and was surprised to hear just how similar his voice is/was to Paolo Nutini, that however is where any similarity ends
