The gun in question is an AR pattern gun and as such its impossible to look directly over the barrel like a traditional layout shotgun. If someone has to search for their dot/think about the target they haven't got the gun/sight set up properly and/or need to practice mounting the gun!JonathanC wrote:
IMO: Apart from the Picatinny infested guns, where you cant see the actual barrel, and firing slugs at 100M then using a red dot site is slower to sight at short range. During a PSG course of fire it is surprising the time 'wasted' whilst you try to mount the sight, align the red dot, and think about the target.
