I once tested one of my .308 barrels with Imperial 155gn ammo at 1000 yds.
The barrel had been chambered to shoot big, heavy Bergers.

I worked out the 155 gn bullets were jumping half an inch.
The groups were as good as the loads the barrel was chambered for.
I never worry too much about jump (depending on the bullet as admittedly some are more sensitive than others).

Interesting, because I currently use 185gn Berger Juggernauts. I don't know how sensitive they are to jump.

I've shot them a fair bit and they're very tolerant.

Also worth noting that the Berger Tactical OTM bullets were specifically designed to work well with magazine fed rifles with wide tolerances. They also shoot very well from my experience but the 185s have the edge IMO.
