A couple of friends also tried it and they thought the glass was excellent.
I also have a Schmidt and Bender PMII 1.5-6 X20 Short Dot, which I have used on a .22 before, and I am able to set it up to suit my eyesight, though anyone else that tries it usually goes “uuugh”. It never occurred to me that it would be a problem on the Elcan! I still managed to shoot with it OK, but I’ll probably swap it out for a Red Dot, or perhaps another scope.

Wow fantastic offer on these the last one I see was state side and close to a £1000 pounds... If only I had seen this add sooner :-(
