do you think they have the twist wrong?
It's possible that it's 1/9, they are available however it'll only shoot 200-220 grain bullets!! my FTR rifle is 1/10 and I'm shooing 200 grainers.

Don't be in a mad panic to rush out and buy the first thing you see, although i can understand the urge :good: :cheers:

I backed down on that one due to the twist rate, if I have grasped what I have read its designed for heavy bullets, so would be ammo fussy.

have found a new candidate though, lots more money, but its ticks all the boxes

He's asking too much for that rig. I wouldn't pay more than £1000 for the lot.

There are still new SSG69s with Kahles 7x42 scopes kicking around for £1,000 - £1,200.

I think £900 is a fair price.
I know of two that recently sold for £1400. One was new and the other had 500 rounds through it.

Just had a look at sportsmanguncentre, that setup would cost around £2800 including the scope. £1200 seems to be a pretty good price.
