That's the spirit!
If nothing else works, a total pig-headed unwilingness to look facts in the face will see us through.

Hoping for visit just before Christmas and licence in the new year.... one can only hope!

I have just had a call from the doctors saying that they have been contacted, and are sending the letter out to the police.
I only realised after the call they didn't ask for any payment :D

I will not pay a fee like that, if the police wants to prove that I am not fit then it is up to them.

From what I understand the current guidance is if there are no medical "complications" then the applicant shouldn't have to pay anything as the doctor doesn't even need to reply.
If there are declared (or undeclared) medical conditions then the doctor is entitled to charge for their time and it is the applicant that needs to foot the bill as with a declared condition and no reply the police will see it as a reason not to grant.

Either way it didn't come up and I am not going to raise it.

I've never met my doctor, so not sure what she had to say about me.

I have had about 4 GPs in the last 4 years, but due to the declared medical condition I met them all.
