Ovenpaaa,

We all enjoyed it even those who struggled to get 10 shots off in 60 seconds.

I single fed all mine and didnt feel rushed.

S class format at the first meet in April.

Looks good as well :good:

What I like about this is there is no need to ask the normal 'what does it weigh/what length barrel/what 'scope magnification' as they are effectively documented already within the regulations.

Well spotted!

Put it on to weigh the rifle and decided to leave it on. As I said on the S-Class website I don't have a problem with them because it's attached to the rifle and in any case I use it as a hand hold rather than a rear rest - but I'll leave to the "Technical Committee" to rule on the legality* or otherwise!

*I'm happy to rule in favour regarding Scotland! O:-)

Here is what I hope to be shooting:

Image

Its a Sako 75 Finnlight in 6.5x55 I just need to wind the mag down as it wears a 6-24x56 Fox scope.

It was good fun at 500 Yards on Sunday once we could see the targets!

That will do nicely!

Out of interest do you know what the bolt core diameter is or would you mind measuring it if you get a chance? I have been advised it is 16,0mm however I have a feeling it is a bit bigger than that.

I hope to be shooting S class this year far oop north in Scotland , I have purchased a specialist piece of kit made just for this type of thing ------ a bog standard BRNO ZKK in .243.This I believe is the spirit of the S class discipline. It will be fitted with a Bushnell 3200 scope and whatever sling is handy ,maybe a bipod if I can be bothered buying one.If a gun is accurate and the driver does his/her best ,that's all that matters ,winning is an added extra.I believe that the cost should be capped ,you should shoot what would normally be shot and nothing exotic . :flag6:
