Yeah, no idea why, I had a bit of a mad dash to find one for my RFD to hold before I got my FAC.

They've stopped making them.
When the rimfire shortage hit the USA sales of rifles stopped.
Walther does not list the rifles on their webpage anymore.

A 1969 Russian Tula TOZ-8M cadet rifle I picked up yesterday.It is in very nice original condition and shoots very well indeed and is very accurate for what it is.They were found throughout Russia in schools and colleges and were also used as cadet training rifles.The iron sights are almost identical to those found on the Mosin Nagant and I think the front sight is actually a Mosin one.

I have just sold this rifle, but it really was a lot of fun to shoot and surprisingly,

very reliable. I only sold because i'm after one that's mil spec, so i can add a .223 upper to the mix.
