Dromia..
Sorry about that. I have to confess I don't look at a lot of Chucks links they have become so predictable. (Any hint of Gun control bad ) With regard to messing about with shotgun cartridges, I think it is a pretty dumb thing to be doing, and as for making a video showing how it is done I think is irresponsible. No warning of the potential dangers. choked barrels. ricochet,Possible excessive pressure , increased max range over standard cartridge. legality* etc.
*Legality............ Well I suppose as the film was made for the USA legality doesn't enter into it. Pretty sure it is against the law here.

Re: Shotgun Fun???
A video, showing how you can modify cartridges? Disgraceful....
Promoting/publicising such a thing would never be allowed in Britain.
And there'd NEVER be any chance that a paperback publishing firm would jump on this as a good idea...would there?
Er, there would.
Penguin paperbacks once did a range of books called "Penguin Specials" - a special series on world events, current affairs, politics, guerilla warfare, education reforms, er...hang on, guerilla wardare? Penguin publishing?
Surely Penguin never released a book on guerilla fighting tactics? Of course not!
They actually published two books..."New Ways of War" & "Guerilla Warfare". One by Tom Wintringham, the other by "Yank" Levy. Both were veterans of the Spanish civil war & went on to be government instructors in guerilla warfare.
Apart from modifying shotgun cartridges they also give advice on how to attack tanks with wooden clothes props & bedsheets, etc.

I'm not biting. I don't think this board is the appropriate place to respond. I originally posted my post in GOM. It was moved here by a moderator.

Re: Shotgun Fun???
Given the age of the books, I am wondering if there is a free download out there...I have found the Levy one as a read online edition.

Re: Shotgun Fun???
I reckon firing cut shells out of a fixed choke shotgun might prove a little too "interesting".
Careful now/that sort of thing
