Re: Forum Shoot - Venue Dates and cost
Guys,
Let's leave the camping this time please.
If you were to be camping on the evening after the shoot it could inpact on range use the following day - in other words someone couldn't hire the range for 800 to 1000 yard shooting.
Radway Green have a lot of dates with us testing ammo and I wouldn't like to lose a good booking.
Cheers
Vince

I am going to take my Steyr SSG 69 P1 and find out what is so exciting about shooting at 1000yds hope fully. My gues it will be about watching .308 ammo disapearing into thin air.
Perhaps the MAS36 may be the P14 may be a No4 Lee enfield or a SMLE or may be a
8mm Mauser a Mosin nagant a 6.5x55 Sweedish mauser a Winchester underlever .357 what about .22s oh and 7.62x39 using cast boolits perhaps.Think you need to decide on distances and what people are actually wanting to shoot

Alpha,
1000 yards? Don't tell your rifle and it won't know the difference!

Dave at 1000 yrds its not the distance its the wind that calls the shots, so to speak.

If you fancy a locally brewed pint - try the Church Inn, Uppermill. Just over a mile using the back roads.
