9mm lever release pistol?

24" and less, a place to discuss all things handgun related, section 7.3. Long barrelled revolvers, long barrelled pistols and section 5. Overseas contributions are more than welcome.

eh? pistols are legal in the majority of EU countries....so how can it be anything to do with the EU?

I would suspect it has more to do with LBR/LBP being classified as 'especially dangerous' in this country a unique and utterly irrational position that few (possibly zero?) other countries have adopted. Its our twisted law makers who are to blame - not the EU.

i getting the right hump still no updates!!!!
if this thing ever gets passed, i wounder if Glock or Sig might be willing to make one (unlikely) since they made mods to their pistols for certain police and militarys before!

Maybe it's not the lever release mechanism?

There could be loads of reasons.

Not happy ! Spoke to midway uk at the phonaix they said the home office don't like the fact that it is a pistol and don't wont to sign it off !!! What the f*** ! Although pete is going to keep fighting them apparently
Is this thing ever going to get off the ground ? It confirms to section one, it don't mean jack if the home office doesn't like it !

That's not quite right - Home Secretary can ban anything he considers especially dangerous and IIRC without so much as referring it to parliament.......all the legislation he needs is already enacted.

Someone will come along shortly with more info / background on that....
