BASC Euro Election Campaign

The BASC have launched a fact finding campaign to weed out any Anti's that will be standing in the upcoming May elections.

If you visit their dedicated Euro election website, http://election.basc.com you can simply punch your post code in and all the candidates who will be standing in you consistiuency will appear with their declared (or not) position on supporting shooting sports. You can then simply select those who have yet to declare their position and fire a handy pre-drafted email to them.

Very very simple, only takes 2 mins and from a few of the responses I've had from some MEP Anti's, it's p*** them off something cronic, so great sport to boot!

Regardless your feelings on Europe, don't loose out on the opportunity to cast an informed vote and just think, if only the BASC members did this never mind adding the non- members that would pretty much carve MOLON LABE in to the political conciousness of our masters.

First reply was from John Flack Conservative Party who confirms:

Do you support shooting sports conducted according to the law and best practice? YES

If elected will you join the European Parliament Intergroup for Sustainable Hunting, Biodiversity, Countryside Activities and Forestry? YES

You may like to know that I am an active skeet shooter. I was a member of the BFSS for many years until it became the Countryside Alliance, of which I was then a founding member ( and continue to be a member of)

I also count Richard Ali the Chief Exec of BASC as a personal friend.
