Boring 260!

I was at Bisley today (home of shooting to you northerners!).
Distance 900 yards with little to no wind. Probably 5mph from left to right.
It did however p*** it down intermittently so was good practise for next Sennybridge trip!
I was using my AE3 in 260 rem with 123gn scenars and N160 powder @ around 2880 fps.
First shot was high in the black so needed a few clicks to get me into the v.
I had a run of 12 shots in the v then dropped 2 x 5`s then back in the v for another 8 shots.
The marker was on the ball and was almost outrunning me!
One of my clubmates had his TR in 308 and put his first shot right thru the centre of the v.
As soon as me and my buddy left the sun came out!
Next to us were muzzle loaders and I am amazed at how well they do at the distance.
We have 1000yds next shoot so looking forward to that.
Oh well of to mow the lawn now!
