Forum rules
Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'

The Scotsgun Ruling:

>Add Gun Shop here<

"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."

Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!

This rule applies to the entire forum.

Valkyrie Rifles

#1 Post by Mike357 »

I picked up my RM 10/22 yesterday from Dave Wylde at Valkyrie Rifles (Baldie on FBUK)

I'd arranged a time to collect the rifle and although I was early and Dave was clearly busy he stopped what he was doing and fetched the rifle. I have to say the Duracoat finish is excellent (H&K Black). A first class job. A new stock and scope and that will be one project complete.

I never felt rushed and Dave stopped work for a chat about guns, what else would you expect! His knowledge, expertise and enthusiasm is second to none and I have no hesitation in recommending him. Indeed, my Remmy VSSF will be going to Valkyrie for fettling and when I can afford my first truly custom rifle, Dave will be the person I'm phoning.
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

Thank you so much for your kind words. I generally just try and treat people how i would like to be treated myself. It seems to work.

Drop by anytime, hopefully you will have time for a cuppa next time.
