Well oomanses, we had a Grand Day Out at Bisley did we ! Kicked off down on Short Siberia at 09:00 on Saturday morning alongside some old codgers Dromia would have been proud of: they were burning a creosote impregnated sawdust in some amazin' .577 Martini action jobbies. They were shooting at big buffalo style targets and hitting them quite often ! Fortunately we were upwind of 'em so we didn't get blinded by the smoke they generated.

We were shooting our Anshutz .22 WMR at first, then once that was zeroed nicely at 200 mards we switched to our AIA M10 jungle carbine look-a-likey in 7.62x39 and put 175 rounds through it to establish what king of group it holds. The answer is....

*drum roll*

8 inches !

We reckon it would tighten up nicely if we used an optical scope and pawloaded ammo instead of milsurp. It's perfect as is though as a Goblinator, and ready for the forthcoming Zombie Akropolis ! (TM)

After a nice lunch we toddled off to meet The Clay People and spent a delightful afternoon with a couple of oomanses turning clay discs into dust. Our afternoon was made when a couple of onlookers spotted our side by side W Richards as we blatted a particularly hard clay the oomanses had just missed (several times) and uttered the immortal words "...and he's using a proper gun."
