Cracking day at Sennybridge
Had a superb day at Sennybridge 'G' range today, the gods smiled on us and the weather was superb, great company and some good shooting was had by all.Stretched the AKM and SKS's legs a bit out to 350m, both performed very well and they impressed those that had a go with them, and also gave the SVD an outing. One the way there I took a different route from normal.....bad mistake as I got lost and ended up the wrong side of SENTA!, about 5 mile the wrong side.....on the plus side I was in the right place to see this, the fog almost looked like a lake!

It was a beautiful day indeed! I was around tho corner on F range and we had a great day. Took the Mosina for the first time and was well impressed! It was easily making headstones at 400m and knocking targets down at 600m. Unfortunately there were no targets further than that, maybe next time!

I thought 'F' range today was just a FCSA shoot?.WelshShooter wrote:It was a beautiful day indeed! I was around tho corner on F range and we had a great day. I know but I didn't see down on the ODRC calendar.......if I'd known I'd have done F Range instead.WelshShooter wrote:Offas Dyke members are welcome as guests Tovarisch

Ah I see what you mean. Look at the calendar on the FCSA website, there's an F range every month that Offas sometimes don't put on the website.
Are you going to the Sunday shoot two weeks today?

Re: Cracking day at Sennybridge
I believe that offas already had two shoots going on, on Saturday, Warcop and Sennybridge G, I would imagine that the club would want to promote its own shoots first and foremost to enable costs to be covered
Offas and FCSA have always had an open invitation to each other
I drove past Warcop on the way back from a break in Dumfries and Galloway and the weather look fantastic for them as like Sennybridge it does seem to have its own climate
