How odd, perhaps the files are damaged, if they don’t have their embedded image type data the forum might reject them.

The code I did only kicks in once an image has been recognised.

Joe the reason you did not have a problem with this photo is because its all ready 400x397.
i took the picture off the forum resized it to 400x400 in less than five minutes I was going to repost it but whats the point.
I will have to come visit you and show you how to take a picture edit it resize it and post in the forum in 10 minutes. Thats using a phone tablet camera or what ever.

I had to add the picture from my desk top it did not show your original one. 400x400 5 minutes to resize and add.

I’m not sure what you’re doing but if you upload a big image there’s no resizing involved, the server should it for you.

That’s the whole point, get rid of the requirement to resize photos which no matter how you dress it up is an unnecessary and for many people overly complex step. It’s just a barrier in the way, no matter how simple you think it is it’s a barrier.

Anyone that’s removed an easy to open stairgate from their home will appreciate my point ;)

Jjvc, id like to find out more about the images you’re having trouble with, if you can be bothered, please pm me and I’ll send you my email to send the pictures to me so I can see if I can change the code to support them.

Dave I can resize my pics no bother, I just like the convenience of being able to upload straight onto the forum. ;)
