If you can get a Dissident Arms style brake that includes the threaded portion for chokes, then it would be a good idea.

The one in the pic may be a folder but the one on my mates doesn't, I think they are fixed to comply with our laws as I'm pretty sure the stocks on UK-spec Saigas and Veprs are fixed.

Its weird that these are marketed as both 'Armtac' and 'Armsan' wtf

The barrel on these is in fact 24" and as short as you can legally go (unless you manage to find someone with Section 5 (ac) authority that will do civvie work and good luck with that!), that's why they don't look AS ridiculous as the Russian guns that have 27" barrels. They still NEED a longer handguard fitted to hide the barrel like the Dissendent Arms gun.

A friend I shoot PSG with has bought one so i'll be looking forward to see it put through its paces. Another friend is looking into getting a carbon fibre handguard made for it too :good:

I've heard varying reports about the quality of them and a few reports of part(s) of the ejection port snapping off, hopefully they will have been early versions/prototypes.

As with others, I've sceptical of anything with a Turkish tag on it until its had a good hammering.

Put 200 rounds through mine at the weekend and it didn't miss a beat . Early days yet but feels good so far .
Used 6 various brands of 28g loads and it cycled perfectly but I will report back with is progress over the next month or so .
If it proves to be 100% reliable after about a 1500 rounds I will offer it for sale on here as I already have a Russian saiga and not enough slots for 2 box feds . If it turns out to be a turd I will tell you so you don't buy one .

if It easily runs 21g then it will kick heavy with buck, slug & hot 28g (s&b) cartridges. As the gas system is non adjustable, NOT self regulating.

I only use my Vepr 12 for slug matches - recoil is not too bad at all. It likes Geco coated Comp slug.
