S & b 0.311 soft point 150 grain

Tonight I was given a bag with 200 s & b bullets he was given when he bought a 303 No 4.

Has anyone reloaded with these bullets? and what were your views of them.

I would be using them in a 1917 SMLE.

Yes I had some, from memory they are quite short however they did shoot. Put a magnet on them, they may be the earlier copper washed version, having aid that my 4(T) shot OK with the factory copper washed.

150gr .311's are more suited to a SVD Drangunov than a SMLE.

I will get rid of them for you in my svd no problem. :run:

If they are anything like the PPU 150gr .311" SP they should shoot well, but wouldn't a heavier bullet suit the SMLE better?.

Yes something like a 174gr would be better in a SMLE.

I use 150gr SMK .311 SP's in my SVD and they work a treat.
