To those with a Taurus LBR in .357. Does the ejector rod lock up at the front end a la S&W?

Cheers.

My early model (late 90s) 66 Silhouette doesn't have any locking on the yoke or ejector rod, it's purely the cylinder release at the back holding it in.

During the happy pistol days in the past, when fitting a Smith with a heavy barrel for the 1500 competition, it was standard practise to discard the front lock and replace it with a small, spring loaded ball bearing, which really did nothing. There are no firing forces which tend to open the cylinder on a swing out pattern revolver so the front lock is not needed.
