I have ordered the long one for my Ruger precision. I don't need any cases drilling I'm assuming the thread is the same as your standard version.

Yes, the standard, long and XL OAL gauges all use the 8x0.75mm thread.

Arrived today just in time to measure up a .338 lapua magnum to start the handloading process. Cheers.
