Thanks for that. My Club shoots bell target on a Saturday morning. (But not at the moment for obvious reasons.)

My god that centre is small, I printed off a couple of targets and had a go! Even off a sand bag it looked like a rubbish shotgun pattern!

3/8" for the hole, this is the equivalent to a mans head ish at 100 yards. The good sorts are putting a pellet through that hole 20 times out of 20 :(

Hi Christel, I was using a daft Walther CP88 pistol with even worse eyesight!

Before I completely run out of compressed air, I might give it a go with my old FT rifle, standing.

Saying that, it does get a bit addictive....just one more go! I've even seen a basic bell target on fleabay, which I'm trying to stop myself buying. I'm sure I've the bits in the garage to make something.

Ovenpaa.......your not helping my confidence!!

I am desperate to have a go but unfortunately I don,t have any were to set up a target all my sheds garages are full to the rafters with stuff.
It even crossed my mind that I could pop into my local range as I have access to it even though its in lock down. Then I gave my head a shake. It will have to wait I am afraid.

Alpha, 18 feet is a distance most people can at. A garden, half into a garage or between two rooms. We even have a family shooting down a corridor at home right now. The postal league has already attracted people from as far away as Hungary and Germany and all you need is a .177 air rifle or pistol.

Hello Christel & Ovenpaa,

Just a quick question before I drill holes in a front plate, the hole on a bell target is 3/8" not the 5mm spot in the centre of the paper versions? I assume it's the 3/8" and the tiny spot is to achieve a theoretical ring on the paper target.

Guidance would be much appreciated.
