Im having to part with my Mauser K98 Sniper. A lovely rifle and shoots very nice. The Barrell has a mirror finish and I have only put around 100 rounds through it. Previous owner had only fired around 300 rounds through it. This particular Rifle is Russian Capture and the BNZ 4 varient produced in 1944 by Steyr. Im not going into detail as Im no expert on these older Rifles and will probally make a wally of myself. This Rifle has had the LSR mounts fitted by the previous owner by C&G Firearms. Furniture is in good overall condition. A few dings here and there but nothing that would not be expected from a Rifle that is knocking on 67 years old.
The Rifles comes with a ZEISS ZIELSECHS x 6 power Rifle scope, marker marked on steel tube CARL ZEISS JENA ZIELSECHS with reticle #1 = three post, correct WW2 Wehrmacht, Serial 11161. The scope has 26,4mm steel tube, length is 32cm / 12 1/2", diameter ocular 38 mm, diameter objective lens outside 46mm / inside 42mm. Excellent clarity and in good condition
Also on the Rifle an original K98 Sling and Cleaning kit.
Rifle comes with approx 200 Privi Brass, 100 Yugo 1956 Brass and 76 Rounds of Yugoslav 1956 ammo. Good ammo and consistant.
