It's possible that the IBUS marked receivers are ones built specifically for the civillian market by Edenpine/Bushmaster, whereas those without, are leftovers from the original Australian manufacturer (Armtech) and military trials...just a thought.

To be fair the only IBUS markings on mine are the stickers on either side- so I imagine many owners may have just removed them.

I remember falling in love with those the first time I saw them... I did have a chance to buy one a few years ago, but held off for some reason.

It was probably luck though, as an AUG came up for sale shortly afterwards and i bought that instead...

Nice rifle. I fancy buying one as I'll never be able to buy an L98.
Next best thing really, I don't like the AUG.
