PERVERT!

The one traditional target guy left in our club (the Chairman lol ) gets plenty of stick and verbal banter as soon as he gets his S&M bondage gear on to get ready to shoot... lol

There's a cheap Travelodge at Carlisle Todhills, or we can highly recommend the Eskdale 'otel if you prefers fine food, good ales and excellent service at a fair price. https://www.eskdalehotel.co.uk

I tried to organize a trip there last year for one of the Clubs I am a member of. It's a large Club with over 150 members I gave up, in the end, it was like trying to wade through concrete to get anything organized and the Club itself would not support the event.
Nothing to do with Gardners they were willing to let us book the range for the day and shoot out to a mile. I think the cost for the day was around the £600 mark but I might be wrong.

Out of interest, having never done it, what is the procedure of staying in a hotel with guns? I'm guessing locked cases and don't leave them alone etc?

Travelling with guns...absolutely fine.

Normal rules applies, take the bolt out, store ammo separate, keep your papers on you.
On the move in a locked car, while back at hotel lock the door and go for dinner. Always keep guns out of view.

If theft happens then you have done your bit by keeping it safe, no different to when at home or travelling to the range stopping for petrol.

Thanks, I assumed that would be the case.

I hope that the organiser will provide sharp sticks for poking the bondage shooters with.
