That's not correct its 1/2x20 unf.
Any way its fitted to the rifle and the owner is happy with it and that's all that counts.
And I gained another little bit of knowledge the first bit was imparted by Ovenpaa. The second bit having never owned a silencer I got to dismantle one and see how they work then fettle the problem and reassemble it and fit it to the rifle.

teanews hm whats next. Work to morrow so I guess that,s it for now.

He had it on the range to day. I got a thumbs up so I am happy with that. All ways good to put a smile on a fellow shooters face.

Always good.

Last job Friday for me was a shorten, crown and 1/2" UNF thread on a CZ, usual issue with the supplied sound moderator thread full of carbon. 6-7" off the barrel makes it a bit more manageable in a truck.

Just to resurrect an oldish thread... following on from this I'd approached Alpha1 to make me a thread converter so I could put my 1/2 UNF moderator on my "pretendy AR" with a 1/2 UNEF thread.

It arrived today, and fits perfectly!! shakeshout
