He's evidently got shares in a hearing aid company............in 1976, I had a t*@t fire a 1911 next to me on an open air range before waiting for the RO, and before I got my defenders on.
It's still ringing...........

I walked into an enclosed 25m firing point as someone fired a .338LM with a brake. We were still moving our kit in, no targets up and people still faffing around at the time. He was the RCO. I live with a constant hiss that only gets worse these days.

Oh jeez, that's horrible to hear. I had the pleasure of hearing a braked 50bmg outdoors, 25m away with one earplug not tightly sealed and I was deafened for an hour or so with no lasting effects. Dread to think how loud that 338LM was... Is that person still an RCO?
