I don't think this can be correct, the UPG is only recently launched.
I suspect you are referring to aTPG1 a rifle which is much older and very different.

The UPG is brand new.

Any experience must be with the TPG 1 a much older rifle system.

The new Unique Alpine family of rifles has been reviewed by Bruce Potts (one of the few honest reviewers) and it will be in the magazines soon.

Aye, apologies, it was a TPG-1.

It's very good, bolt isn't quite as smooth as the Tikka but it's pretty close. Just as accurate, very good build quality.
Only slight negative is there's no folding stock, Bergara originally said they would be releasing an adaptor but now they aren't.

I just got another Sabatti 308, I had the Urban Sniper, which for £750 is a bargain and shoots very nice .5moa with no effort.
I've replaced it with the new ST-18 which has a more adjustable "tactical" style stock, shoots very well indeed but I don't like the finish, it's like a rough phosphate.

Just for info

There is a folding stock model of the UPG 1 available as well now.
