For the first time in a long time, I took my Pietta 1858 Remington revolver to the range yesterday. I shot it two handed from about 20 paces. The load was about 25 grains of Henry Krank fine nutty slack, a felt wad, a .451 ball and some Ox-Yoke Wonder Lube slathered on top of the ball. The target was a NSRA 100 yard centre. It didn't shoot too bad for me. I will take it out again as I enjoyed shooting it, not so much the loading and cleaning.
