Primer crimp removal

Removing the primer crimp for a Boxer primed case is straightforward, a twist with the Lee chamfer tool or the RCBS primer pocket swager. The Berdan case can not use these methods because the anvil in the primer pocket gets in the way. With some RG cases in the past, I lightly chucked them in a drill and used a small round file to touch the edge of the primer pocket to give it a chamfer. The problem with that is if you are not very careful, you contact the anvil with the end of the file. So, what method is the best for removing the crimp from a Berdan primed case?
Regards
Peter.

I modified a primer pocket reamer by grinding a groove across the middle of it.
As an alternative a very sharp Stanley knife works BUT mind your fingers

I use a Lee chamfer tool with a hole drilled in the centre to accommodate the case anvil for Berdan brass.
